Here are some things you should know about ordering a cake for your special celebration from Kendall’s Cakes:

Orders are only taken over the telephone, not placed on the internet. Kendall needs to speak with you to be sure she makes you the perfect cake.

All wedding cakes begin at $9.00 per serving. The minimum number of servings is 30.

Intricate designs and /or sugar flowers will cost more.

Sculpted cakes start at $12.00 a person with a 40 person minimum.

Washington, D.C. area delivery and set up charge is $75. If you live really far away, it will cost more.

Please order early, at least one month in advance, as Kendall limits her orders so that she and Meghan can give each cake the time and attention it deserves. Their schedule fills up quickly. Next thing you know, it’s August.

And Kendall doesn’t work in August. She gets in her car with whichever grown kids will come, and dogs, and yes, her husband - and goes far away for the whole month to read and knit and spin wool and garden and think about anything but cakes and stare off into the night sky… Thankfully Meghan still works in August! She would be happy to make your cake.
